OREGON AND WASHINGTON SPORTS SURFACING LEADERs

Hardwood floor installation.

Since 1989, T&T has been committed to providing excellence,

in the installation of wood athletic flooring. The CEO, Dan Hunt, has been working in the industry for several decades now. His journey began on the East Coast with a company called Surfacing Systems. It was the early 1970s, and the company was known for its innovation in the synthetic flooring space. Dan started his career as a Technical Director where he was responsible for providing solutions to dealers scattered throughout the United States.

As Surfacing Systems evolved into a manufacturing company specializing in synthetic flooring, Dan and his brother invested in it, owning around 15% of the company. Dan continued to work as a Technical Representative for Surfacing Systems for almost seven years until the company expanded to Saudi Arabia. Surfacing Systems sold urethane products, along with the machines needed to install these types of floors, to a Saudi Arabian company. Dan, with his expertise, was tasked with teaching them how to operate the machines and install the systems.

Rather than installing the floors themselves, Dan formulated a contract to install different urethane floors in seven major cities in Saudi Arabia over the next five years, with the approval of Surfacing Systems. After completing his contracts with Saudi Arabia in 1984, Dan continued to provide consulting services for Surfacing Systems in different parts of the world, such as Guam, Hong Kong, Germany, and many others, along with all over the United States.

In 1989, Dan decided to start T&T Contractors, specializing in the installation of wood athletic flooring. Since then, T&T has been providing flooring solutions all along the West Coast.
